Jenilee Rapp Clinical Mental Health Intern

My name is Jenilee Rapp (Jeni) and I hold a Bachelor of Science in social work from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and am a certified social worker (CSW) with the State of Nebraska. I am currently obtaining my master’s degree in social work from Nebraska Wesleyan University and completing my practicum here at Omaha Trauma Therapy. My goal after completing my practicum is to become a Licensed independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

For 13 years I have been a case manager working with the chronically homeless and homeless veterans. Over the years of working with this diverse population, I have gained a greater knowledge of how a person’s trauma impacts their emotional, physical, and mental well-being. With the appropriate help and support I have witnessed how one can overcome their trauma and I wish to continue to inspire others to do the same here at Omaha Trauma Therapy.

Using a person-center approach, I am here to empower and support you on your steps towards growth and self-discovery. I believe in being empathic, transparent, and using laughter to create a safe and supportive environment for you to receive the care you seek. YOU are not alone in this new and challenging journey.
